MEDICAL ASSISTANT / SCRIBE - FULL TIME

SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Mondays through Fridays) 

Medical Assistant / Scribe — Neurosurgery & Surgery Center - Mobin Neurosurgery

Our neurosurgery practice and outpatient surgery center are looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our team here in Beverly Hills! We work with neurosurgery, spine surgery, and pain management cases across both a clinical office and an ambulatory surgery center setting. 

In this dual role, you will gain broad exposure to neurosurgery from both the administrative and clinical side. On the office side, you'll serve as a scribe and front-office support — rooming patients, taking vitals, collecting medical histories, managing scheduling, handling referrals, and keeping things running smoothly so the physician can focus on patient care. On the surgery center side, you'll prepare patients for procedures and shadow in the OR, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, and other medical staff.

What you'll do:

Room patients, take vitals, and collect medical and surgical histories

Manage scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and other front-office tasks

Coordinate patient flow and support the physician's clinic day from start to finish

Prepare patients for procedures and assist in the pre-op and post-op process

Shadow in the OR alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PAs

We are looking for motivated pre-med or pre-PA students who are available to work five days per week (40 hours) and can commit to at least one year. No prior experience is required — we will train the right candidate.

Please note: Schedule flexibility is essential. Work hours vary weekly based on surgery case start times and clinic schedules, and may require arriving before 5:00 AM, at 6:00 AM, or at 8:30 AM.
