Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Employing cutting-edge radiographic and CT techniques to generate high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and your healthcare team to facilitate accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Positioning patients with care and calibrating imaging equipment to secure optimal results
- Adhering to stringent radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate records, including imaging logs and regular equipment checks
- Providing compassionate support throughout the imaging process to enhance patient experience
- Contributing to a safe and efficient imaging environment that fosters teamwork
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is necessary; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is essential
- ARRT certification for CT and/or Radiography is mandatory
- Current BLS certification or the ability to secure within 90 days of hiring
- Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Adeptness in thriving within fast-paced environments while being flexible to changing circumstances
- Detail-oriented mindset combined with a sense of responsibility and ownership
- Technological aptitude with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging applications
