Material Handler - 1st Shift

Material Handler

PrideStaff has immediate openings for two Material Handlers for our lumber distribution client, located in Denver. These are temp to hire opportunities with a well established company.

Job Description:

• Operating a forklift and by hand, unload various building materials and place into inventory
• Receive goods into inventory
• Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping of products
• Build customer orders according to scanners or hand written orders and prepare for shipment or delivery
• Load orders onto trucks for delivery
• Process return items and place in inventory
• Assist in periodic inventory

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of fork lift /material handler experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of building materials
• Able to read and accurately fill customer orders
• Ability to measure to 1/16th of an inch
• Experience operating a forklift
• Desire to work outdoors in the elements
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good safety record
• Willing to work over time
