Revenue Cycle Specialist

To support a growing telehealth practice, the contract Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including patient billing inquiries, claims resolution, and accounts receivable management, while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Respond to patient billing and insurance inquiries, educating patients on healthcare billing concepts and managing payment arrangements Work on claims hold and denial queues, coordinating with payers and clinical teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate claim submissions Serve as a subject matter expert for the Patient Experience team, identifying process improvements and supporting special projects related to claims and patient support Required qualifications: 2-3+ years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle operations, preferably in a telehealth environment Hands-on experience using billing platforms such as Athena, including claims troubleshooting Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) Experience managing patient and insurance accounts receivable Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Virtual Vocations Inc
