Equipment Technician Intern (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)

Bio-Techne seeks a part-time Equipment Technician Intern to support preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations on laboratory equipment in Minneapolis. The role offers flexible scheduling around academic commitments, with potential for full-time placement after successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs
• Conduct routine inspections and document findings accurately
• Support installation of new equipment on-site
• Manage work orders and respond to equipment alarms
• Perform minor building maintenance and material handling tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in technical program or Associate degree
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Microsoft Word and Excel competency
• Material handling equipment experience preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and off-site as needed

Compensation: $22.00–$30.25 hourly
