Family or Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a rural primary care practice in Colebrook, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients in a close-knit, underserved community while enjoying a balanced lifestyle and strong community connection.

Position Highlights

Rural outpatient primary care

Comprehensive care for adults and/or patients of all ages

No weekend or holiday shifts

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment.

Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized care plans.

Provide preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings.

Order and follow up on diagnostic testing and communicate results to patients.

Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans.

Coordinate referrals and care with specialists and other healthcare providers.

Educate patients and families on disease prevention, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and healthy living.

Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Completion of an approved residency program

Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association

Comfortable maintaining an independent patient panel
