Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate Sam's Club #6236, 2474 Cross Pointe Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29730-8185 Position Summary Our members rely on a hardworking and customer‑focused fresh food team to keep shelves stocked and our freezers, coolers, and deli area running smoothly. In this role you will support the operational and sanitary conditions of our cold storage units and provide excellent customer service at the deli station. Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures and guidelines. Conduct safety sweeps, follow proper forklift spotting procedures, clear hazardous materials, enforce steel‑standard guidelines and report unsafe situations to management. Manage the freezer, cooler and deli area: receive and stock merchandise, set up and clean product displays, remove damaged goods, price items, complete required audits, logs and documentation, and secure fragile or high‑shrink merchandise. Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, delivering deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Follow company policies for the freezer/cooler area: comply with food handling policies, operate and sanitize equipment, adhere to cold‑chain procedures when stocking merchandise, clean the area, monitor equipment fans, drains and doors, and report issues to management. Keep shelves stock‑ready and high quality by ensuring proper temperature control, verifying expiration dates, disposing of lower‑quality products, packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and displays, and maintaining a clean, sanitized area. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Completion of all required job training and assessments within a prescribed period is required.
