About Us

We're a small, acclaimed tasting menu restaurant in New York City, recognized by major national and industry press in our first year of operation. We run a tight, detail-obsessed room — six courses, considered pacing, and a guest experience built on precision and warmth. We're growing, and looking to build out our management bench to match.

Assistant General Manager

We're looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead floor operations, staff development, and nightly service execution at a high-volume, high-standards fine dining restaurant.

What you'll do

Run service as a senior floor leader — overseeing pacing, guest experience, and real-time problem-solving across a full house
Support hiring, training, and ongoing development of front-of-house staff
Own or contribute to SOPs, opener/closer duties, and staff training programs
Step in for the General Manager on scheduling, staff coaching, and disciplinary processes when needed
Keep a nightly manager log and help drive performance conversations at team meetings
Act as a steady, standards-first presence on the floor during peak service

What you bring

2+ years of management or assistant management experience in fine dining or an upscale, high-volume restaurant
Strong instincts for reading a room and managing service pressure calmly
Comfort giving direct feedback and holding a team to a high bar
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus, given our team composition
Genuine interest in growing into a General Manager role over time
