The role involves working in a dynamic oncology unit. The shift is PM, from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36. The unit has 18 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Equipment used includes a computer, IV pump, vital sign machine, and other basic medical equipment. The electronic medical record system utilized is Epic. Type of patients on the unit include oncology, palliative, post-operative bariatric, and medical-surgical overflow. The ideal candidate should be responsible, dependable, compassionate, hardworking, patient-oriented, and kind. Dress code requires navy scrubs; only scrubs and scrub jackets are allowed. No call requirements are associated with this position. A float requirement may be necessary as needed. This position is perfect for those looking to make a difference in patient care.
