Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, on-call)
Pay Range: $33.15 – $49.39 per hour

Job Summary

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. The role focuses on ensuring optimal patient outcomes while addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Assess and prioritize patient needs considering age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
• Accurately document patient care, progress, and outcomes using proper medical terminology
• Support patient discharge through education and appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Degree in Nursing)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience required

Licensure & Certification

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oklahoma or multi-state)

• Strong clinical and patient care skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• High attention to detail in clinical documentation
