Job Description
Join a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working night shifts from 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This role provides specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions, including post-surgical patients, cardiac patients, stroke patients, and those requiring complex medical management. The RN will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced stepdown environment.

Requirements:

2 years of RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required

Telemetry monitoring experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Active Michigan RN License required

BLS Certification (AHA) required

ACLS Certification (AHA) required

Strong critical care assessment and clinical judgment skills required

Experience caring for cardiac, post-surgical, and high-acuity medical patients required

Ability to work every other weekend required
