APEX Placement & Consulting has partnered with an exceptional healthcare organization in Chesterfield, VA seeking a dedicated General Manager of Culinary Services to join their leadership team. This individual will serve as the senior on-site leader responsible for overall operational performance, financial success, client satisfaction, team engagement, and service excellence across culinary and dining services. What your day will look like:

• Provide overall leadership for culinary and dining operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards
• Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, and cost controls
• Recruit, coach, and develop managers and team members while building a culture of accountability and hospitality
• Partner with residents, clients, and organizational leadership to drive satisfaction, engagement, and service recovery efforts
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, OSHA, HACCP, and regulatory requirements while implementing operational best practices

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
• 7-10+ years of senior leadership experience within hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or contract services
• Proven experience managing P&L performance, budgets, and large-scale operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills with experience leading managers and cross-functional teams
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
