Financial Analyst

This role is responsible for leading business analysis for a Line of Business (LOB) by producing financial reporting, disclosures, and substantiating Profit and Loss (P&L) attributes and balance‑sheet details. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze balance sheets and P&L reports and validate postings and balances for products aligned to a Line of Business (LOB). Support the development of strategic and annual planning, profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting for product or general ledger account types. Oversee one or more product(s) or general ledger account(s) and maintain financial responsibility, including accuracy of financial reporting for P&L activities. Partner closely with front office, operations, and technology to define business finance processes and implement related technology solutions. Deliver, design, maintain, and enhance Value at Risk Back‑Testing (VBT) data and Management Information System (MIS) processes that affect multiple product control businesses. Analyze regulatory matters such as Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Recovery and Resolutions Plans (RRP), assessing risk‑modeling practices within the bank. Provide oversight on the official daily P&L explain, P&L substantiation to market events, significant transaction review, and VaR back‑testing. Conduct monthly independent price verification on derivatives and securities positions. Maintain and update valuation adjustment and IPV desk‑level procedures. Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue and balance‑sheet commentary for senior managers and regulators. Support regulatory capital disclosures, price testing, sector analysis, stresstest, and forecasting. Validate Volcker balance‑sheet reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise guidelines. Coordinate the monthly close process and quarterly financial reporting requirements. Work on initiatives to simplify or automate manual processes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Product Control or Finance groups. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Experience in Global Markets and global rates market knowledge. Derivatives product and valuation knowledge, including technical expertise in the models used to reprice complex transactions. Advanced proficiency with Excel and complex spreadsheets. Control‑focused, analytical, and team‑oriented with a comfort for complex product environments. Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship‑management skills. Proven analytical skills, including data reconciliation and interpretation. Ability to identify and deliver process improvements. Strong business‑partnering skills. Desired Qualifications Fixed‑income or derivative industry experience. Experience applying AI tools to day‑to‑day work and drive automation. Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo to improve processes. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and financial acumen. Shift, Hours, & Pay Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Pay range: $100,000.00 – $154,100.00 annualized salary (based on experience, education, and skill level).
