Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed at a healthcare organization located in Pontiac, Michigan. This role involves delivering quality perioperative nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. The nurse will work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. The position offers a full-time schedule with days shifts, and includes on-call responsibilities, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of OR experience; must be able to circulate; experienced with orthopedic, general, gynecological, urological, and neuro procedures; skills checklist required; Michigan nursing license verification including LARA and Nursys; physical copies of certifications only if listed above
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• State Licenses: Michigan license verification required
• Additional Information: All OR nurses must submit a skills checklist completed within one year of application. References are not required. Full-time employees of the healthcare organization are not eligible for contract hiring within six months of employment.
