Data Management Expert

Job Overview We are searching for a Data Management Expert to be located in Spring House, PA; Horsham, PA; Raritan, NJ; or Titusville, NJ. The role is part of the eSource Data Acquisition team and involves driving the implementation of data acquisition strategy and the future e‑clinical trial landscape at Johnson & Johnson. Responsibilities Lead strategic functional and intra- and/or cross‑department innovation and continuous improvement initiatives and projects. Anticipate current and future business and portfolio needs, identifying opportunities for value creation, innovation, and continuous improvement with a high return on investment. Build and evaluate business cases for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in line with portfolio and departmental strategic imperatives. Contribute to strategy and drive the implementation, deployment and adoption of new processes, methods and/or technologies across Data Management and Research and Development programs. Represent Data Management in cross‑functional innovation forums and projects. Collaborate with internal cross‑functional colleagues and external partners to define the data integration strategy for assigned programs/projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (e.g., BS, BA) or equivalent experience preferred in Clinical Data Management, Health or Computer Sciences. Advanced degrees (e.g., Master, PhD) preferred. Minimum of eight years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Regulatory or Biotech industry or related field. In‑depth knowledge of data interoperability practices (including tools and processes) and data standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR). In‑depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH‑GCP, FDA RWE). Experience working with data from EHR/EMR, Digital Health technologies, Real‑World Data, eDC systems, eDC integration tools, and general data capture platforms. Experience or knowledge of data streams commonly collected in clinical research or clinical care is preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work in an emerging, agile, fast‑paced, highly motivated, team‑centric and evolving data environment. Base Salary Anticipated base pay range: $137,000.00 – $235,750.00.
