Occupational Therapist – Outpatient / Acute Care / Long-Term Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Onsite | Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period (with potential for one 8-hour call-off per 2-week period)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed settings within a critical access hospital environment
• Float between care settings as needed to meet facility demands, within the scope of practice
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays as required
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission; compact license accepted if valid)
• Current NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in outpatient, acute care, and/or long-term care/swing bed settings
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to accommodate a block schedule if needed
