What We Offer Competitive salary Paid vacation/holidays/sick time available from day 1 Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision care available day one Extensive product and on-the‑job / cross‑training opportunities with outstanding resources Encouraging and collaborative team environment Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy What You Will Do Perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools Debug and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems Respond to basic warranty calls Provide customers with high level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items Serve as a trusted advisor, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of service How You Will Do It Load system‑level controller software Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system‑level controllers to end devices (sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete required commissioning documentation Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment Complete administrative tasks including timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site documentation Document changes and provide information for as‑built documentation Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training, with high regard to employee and subcontractor safety Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently, including upselling opportunities Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions Requirements 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 4 years of industry experience, or experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry General knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner Ability to explain technical information to technical and non‑technical people; leadership skills to support the activities of mechanics on non‑complex, non‑critical building automation equipment on a job site PC experience required and ability to program HVAC related software Salary Range Hourly rate: $28.70 - $39.47 per hour (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities) #J-18808-Ljbffr
