We are seeking a Communications Specialist who is an exceptional writer, communicator, and organizer to support executive leadership and corporate initiatives. This role combines strategic communications, executive support, marketing, and administrative coordination to ensure clear, consistent messaging across the organization while supporting business operations. The ideal candidate has experience supporting Federal Government organizations. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

What You Will Do

Executive Communications:

• Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations, briefings, reports, and supporting materials.
• Draft executive correspondence, talking points, internal announcements, newsletters, and other leadership communications.
• Translate technical, operational, and business information into clear and engaging content.
• Support leadership meetings, customer engagements, conferences, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with preparation of meeting agendas, executive summaries, and action-item tracking.

Marketing & Corporate Communications:

• Create marketing materials, capability statements, corporate presentations, and other business development collateral.
• Support proposal development activities, including formatting, graphics, and presentation materials.
• Develop content for company communication channels, including newsletters, website updates, and social media.
• Assist with corporate events, recruiting events, and customer engagement activities.

Administrative & Business Operations Support:

• Provide administrative support to executive leadership, including meeting coordination, scheduling, and documentation support.
• Coordinate internal meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and track follow-up actions.
• Maintain communication resources, templates, and executive documentation.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
• Assist with organizing company information for leadership reporting and decision-making.

Collaboration & Digital Tools:

• Create and maintain communication materials using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
• Develop presentations and documents using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets.
• Manage shared documents, collaboration spaces, and communication resources using tools such as Google Drive and SharePoint.
• Support virtual meetings and collaboration using digital communication platforms.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in communications, executive support, marketing, business operations, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense organizations preferred.
• U.S. Army experience (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, or Army Civilian) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations and executive-level briefing materials.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) .
• Experience with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, and Gmail) .
• Ability to quickly learn and leverage new collaboration and communication tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

• Experience working within a government contracting (GovCon) environment.
• Experience supporting senior executives, program leaders, or customer-facing teams.
• Experience developing proposal content, marketing collateral, or business development materials.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense organizational structures and terminology.
• Experience with SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar communication/design tools.
• Experience supporting conferences, corporate events, or customer engagements.
