NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a vital part of our neonatal intensive care unit, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and support to their families in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient status and changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Educate and support families in understanding their infant's condition and care requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care in the NICU.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience in a neonatal intensive care setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend availability is necessary and will vary based on the unit's needs.

Unit Information

This role operates within a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, providing comprehensive care in a teaching hospital environment.
