Description Location: Columbus, OH, USA Position Type: Part‑Time, Event‑Based Reports To: Event Coordinator Job Summary As Local Event Staff at Water Lantern Festival, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring our events run smoothly by tackling a variety of tasks and supporting on‑site operations. Key Responsibilities Event Support: Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of event activities, including lantern distribution, guest check‑in, and site preparation. Staff Coordination: Help manage and direct local staff and volunteers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional assistance to attendees, answering questions and resolving minor issues to enhance their experience. Logistics Assistance: Support the Event Coordinator with inventory checks, equipment handling, and other operational needs. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the core team to maintain a positive, organized environment and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly. Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to learn event management skills, with the potential to advance to the Event Coordinator role. Qualifications Age: Must be 18 years or older.
