CompHealth is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an inpatient coverage assignment. This role involves managing a daily GI census of 20-25 patients, performing 2-5 procedures daily, and handling new consults and follow-ups. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no night or weekend call. Practice Info GI census of 20 - 25 patients daily 8 - 10 new consults and 10 - 15 follow-ups per day 2 - 5 procedures daily Support staff 1 - 2 APPs, 1 fellow, 1 resident on inpatient team Responsibilities Provide inpatient coverage Perform upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and more Compensation We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly Benefits We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage We simplify the credentialing and privileging process Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry Shift & Schedule Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm inpatient coverage only No night or weekend call Requirements Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and more required
