Summary Accountable for independently providing trauma informed clinical services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provides trauma informed clinical services in the form of triage, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, group and/or family therapy, screening, treatment planning and referral within a multidisciplinary team and departmental coverage for staff absences. Completes all required documentation related to client treatment in accordance with established procedures. Provides coordination of care and referral with other community agencies (e.g., hospitals, emergency rooms, jails, homeless shelters, outpatient programs) and consults and collaborates with other behavioral/medical health providers. Meets productivity standard for the position and role. Attends required departmental staff meetings, provider meetings, supervision (including peer) meetings and participates in feedback and problem solving to enhance service delivery. Participation in trainings to bring new service delivery options to clinical care (e.g., EMDR, ART, etc.). Development of new models of treatment and application of evidence-based practices. Internal capacity building (e.g., staff embedded in schools, community outreach and education). Performs related duties as required. All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings. Schedule Full Time, 40 hours a week, Monday - Thursday between 8 am - 7 pm, Fridays 8 am to 5 pm. Clinicians are expected to work at least one late night until 7 pm. Requirements Education &/Or Experience Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health discipline from an Accredited University with advanced Licensure in the State of Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 2 years of experience in recovery oriented system of care in behavioral health.
