Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview This nursing role involves the delivery of age-specific, direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environment. The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the Nursing Process while adhering to established Nursing Standards of Patient Care and specialty-specific guidelines. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with the Nursing Process. Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of tasks to other team members. Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare provision. Required Certifications Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) De-escalation training All certifications must be active prior to the start date or a course must be scheduled during Clinical Orientation at the beginning of the assignment. Shift Information This is a night shift position with varied hours. Holiday coverage is not required.
