Job Description:
This unit does not offer straight 3x12 schedules. Travelers can either work an alternating 3x12s alternating 4x12's every other week, or they can work straight 4x12's. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry experience with Epic. The unit operates with a 1:6 nurse-patient ratio (1:4 if cardiac drip). Weekend and holiday shifts are required, including at least two of three holidays. No call is required. The unit includes general MS, Diabetes, renal insufficiency, some overnight ortho, vascular insufficiency, wound patients, and backup for the stroke unit.


Required Skills:

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry
• Experience with Alaris Pumps and Vital Sync Monitors

Certifications:

• BLS (required)
• NIH & ACLS (preferred)

Shift Details:

• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95
