Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description Our private, family-owned optometry practice, Infinity Eyecare of Denver, is growing and we are looking for a friendly, well-rounded patient care coordinator to join our team. This role will be filled by a versatile and motivated team member who is willing to learn and grow with our group. Previous experience in the optical industry is required. You will be compensated for any hands‑on training required as part of your ramp‑up process. Potential tasks on a given day may include (but are not limited to): Provide excellent customer service! Check patients in and out, answer the phone, help with orders and schedule appointments Understand vision and medical insurance and be able to verify eligibility for all patients for all plans accepted at our office Bill patients based on their exam fees/co‑pays Effectively communicate any relevant patient information with the office staff via our in‑office messaging system (Slack) Facilitate patient flow Professional and prompt communication with patients about orders, appointments, follow‑ups, issues, etc. This is a full‑time position starting at $20-23 per hour with room for growth based on experience. Our hours of operation are: Mon-Thursday 8:45am-5:30pm, 45 minute unpaid lunch Fridays 9:45am-5:15pm, 30 min unpaid lunch

Required skills and qualifications for this position: Experience in the eye care industry Must be proficient on the computer and have basic math skills Excellent customer service, time management and organizational skills Must have proficient writing and communication skills Punctual, reliable, ethical and trustworthy Need to be able to adapt to change - we are a small, growing practice and are looking for someone to grow with us!
