Roaster/Tostador
Mayorga Coffee
El Tostador es responsable del desarrollo y ejecución de varios perfiles de café, manteniendo la consistencia con los perfiles establecidos y cumpliendo con las necesidades generales de tostado. El tostador también asiste en el mantenimiento y desarrollo de nuestro proceso, así como en proporcionar al resto del equipo conocimientos sobre mezclas y tostado. El Tostador debe estar comprometido con seguir los estándares de seguridad alimentaria SQF. Asegurar la calidad y consistencia de todos los tostados. Cumplir con las necesidades diarias de tostado para el empaquetado/salida. Realizar limpieza y mantenimiento rutinario de los tostadores. Controlar y monitorear inventarios de granos verdes. Pesar con precisión los granos verdes para diversas recetas. Desarrollar al/los Asistente(s) de Tostado en conocimientos de producto, conocimientos de tostado y responsabilidades de mantenimiento/limpieza. Cumplir con todos los estándares de certificación y seguridad alimentaria. Limpiar el área de tostado y los contenedores de enfriamiento después de cada turno; vaciar los residuos de cáscara diariamente. Realizar inspecciones diarias del equipo de tostado. Sacar y desechar la basura del área de tostado al final del turno. Limpiar los barriles de cáscara según sea necesario. Cumplir con todas las certificaciones, requisitos regulatorios y estándares de seguridad alimentaria. Informar a la administración de cualquier problema potencial de seguridad alimentaria y productos no conformes. Informar a la administración/supervisor sobre cualquier condición o acto inseguro que afecte la salud y seguridad física. Completar un inventario de café verde cada viernes antes del final del turno. Cargar las carretillas elevadoras y mantener los niveles de agua. Mantener un entorno de trabajo limpio y seguro en todas las áreas del almacén. Otras tareas asignadas. Ofrecer calidad consistente en varios perfiles de tostado. Detectar y diagnosticar problemas con el tostador y otros equipos. Capaz de prever con precisión las necesidades de café verde para la producción. Certificación vigente de manejo de carretillas elevadoras requerida. Capaz de levantar (hasta) 50 libras de manera constante; 100 libras con un compañero. Capaz de trabajar de pie durante 8 o más horas. Capaz de extenderse y levantar con las manos y brazos de manera constante; trepar o mantener el equilibrio, y agacharse, arrodillarse o ponerse en cuclillas. Capaz de cambiar de tareas rápidamente y trabajar bajo presión. Capacidad para trabajar en equipo con una actitud positiva. Motivado/a, dispuesto/a a aprender y cómodo/a en un entorno dinámico. Capacidad para trabajar de lunes a viernes, así como algunos sábados ocasionales. Mantener una asistencia oportuna y regular. Bilingüe (español e inglés) preferido.
