Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in the Cath Lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor hemodynamics, manage medications per protocol, and assist with equipment and devices (e.g., structural heart, vascular, diagnostic cases; Impella; ECMO as applicable).
- Maintain sterile technique, scrub in for procedures, and support the interventional team during emergent and non-emergent cath cases.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EPIC); communicate with the patient, family, and care team.
- Participate in post-procedure recovery, discharge planning, and patient education; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Supervise and assist other nursing staff as appropriate, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Cath Lab experience with responsibilities including structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases (minimum 5 years preferred)
- EPIC experience
- BSN preferred; not required if equivalent experience is met
- Ability to work the listed schedule (day shift) and participate in on-call rotation (2 days per week, 1–2 weekends per month)
- Willingness to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting
