A clinic in Kansas City, KS is currently seeking a permanent hire (staff) Behavioral Health Consultant (Bilingual)to join their team full-time!Check out the details below: Title Behavioral Health Consultant (Bilingual) Job Type Permanent / Direct Hire Location Kansas City, KS 66102 Schedule Full Time, Days, 8AM-5:00PM Responsibilities As a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) you will be an integral member of the Primary Care Team, providing brief, targeted behavioral health assessments and interventions during office visits. The BHC addresses psychosocial needs, follows up on primary care referrals, develops short-term treatment plans, conducts brief psychosocial assessments for children, youth, and adults in primary care and connects clients with appropriate services. Qualifications LCSW, LCP, PhD in Clinical Psychology preferred; LPC, LMSW, PLPC, or other Master’s-level behavioral health clinicians 1–3 years of experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness; community mental health experience preferred. Experience with trauma, homelessness, and/or substance use preferred. Knowledge of DSM-5/ICD-10, mental health assessment, and person-centered treatment planning.
