General Construction Worker

Base pay range $18.88/hr - $20.01/hr Responsibilities Perform various construction tasks including but not limited to framing, drywall installation, flooring, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing work Operate heavy machinery, hand tools, and power tools to complete projects safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in construction work Measure and cut materials to precise specifications Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications Collaborate with other workers, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget Maintain a clean and organized work environment Identify and report any issues or safety hazards to supervisors Perform other duties as required to support the successful completion of construction projects Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and the ability to perform a wide range of construction tasks This position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on all construction projects Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction or trade-related field Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, construction machinery, and other related equipment Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans Ability to work in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Building Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
