Bilingual Leasing Agent

Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Type: Full-Time
Language Requirement: Fluent English and Spanish

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Leasing agent to assist with the day-to-day operations of three market-rate residential properties in Hartford, CT.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative functions
• Handle leasing activities, including responding to inquiries, showing apartments, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs
• Maintain strong occupancy and assist with marketing available units
• Communicate professionally with residents and prospective residents in both English and Spanish
• Serve as the primary point of contact for resident questions, concerns, and requests
• Prepare and maintain leases, renewals, notices, resident files, and other property documentation
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with maintenance personnel and outside vendors
• Schedule and follow up on repairs and ensure resident issues are addressed in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience with leasing is strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish , with the ability to communicate effectively with residents in both languages
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive resident situations appropriately
• Comfortable using computers, email, and property-management software
