Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Duty Diesel/Road Truck Technician and become a vital part of keeping commercial vehicles operating at peak performance! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, construction equipment, and industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls for breakdowns and mechanical issues when needed
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Perform emergency repairs including electrical, hydraulic, brake, and fuel systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative service in the field and in shop
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring, air systems, and engine components
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding repair when necessary
• Maintain service truck inventory, and shop tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Other duties assigned by manager

Experience

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (road service experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulics
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not always required)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer or tablet skills for reporting and diagnostics
