As a Security Officer Front Desk Ambassador in Parsippany, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a dynamic technology location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor cameras and alarms, support badge processes, and help address security-related concerns with professionalism. This role blends customer service, communication, and attention to detail in a team-driven environment that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture, with integrity at the center of every interaction.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, verify identification as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Answer questions, direct visitors, support sign-in processes, and maintain accurate front desk records related to security-related operations and visitor management.
• Observe lobby and reception areas for potential concerns, report maintenance and/or security-related issues, and support a professional atmosphere at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
