Job Description: As a Special Procedures Tech I, you’ll be instrumental in assisting physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures in a sterile environment. Your role involves preparing examination areas, positioning patients accurately, and operating complex radiology equipment with precision. You’ll pass materials, take exposures as directed, and support the team in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in a busy department where procedures range from routine to intricate, often with 5‑10 cases per day. Expect to work closely with a team of six RNs and five techs, supporting electrophysiologists and contributing to patient diagnostics in a fast‑paced setting. The department operates Monday through Friday, with Saturday call responsibilities rotating every few weeks. No patient care duties are involved—just a focus on imaging technology and procedural support that keeps diagnostics moving smoothly.
