Immigration Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a dynamic and self‑starting Immigration Attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will manage an immigration law caseload and supervise two paralegals, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional legal representation. Responsibilities Prepare and submit filings for USCIS, DOS, and EOIR. Conduct hearings before EOIR. Perform records searches under FOIA and conduct background checks. Provide co‑counseling assistance to other attorneys. Maintain consistent communication with clients. Review open cases for proper recordkeeping. Participate in departmental meetings. Establish positive relationships with clients and court personnel. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Licensed to practice law in the United States. Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience in immigration law. Experience with USCIS and EOIR cases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic thinking and planning abilities. Flexible work schedule capability. Ability to manage a diverse docket with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic and accountability. Occasional travel may be required. Excellent attendance record. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the United States. Skills Strong interpersonal skills. Effective note‑taking and communication. Proficiency in legal research and case management.
