Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Previous skilled nursing facility experience required.
• Experience performing evaluations, developing therapeutic plans of care, and implementing therapeutic modalities per physician orders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and engaging residents and caregivers in goal setting.

Impacting Patient Care

The Physical Therapist will partner with residents and care teams to maximize functional abilities and independence in activities of daily living. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, establishing therapeutic plans with measurable goals, providing treatment per physician orders, and consulting with caregivers to incorporate patient preferences into care plans.
