Foxhall Apartments is seeking an exceptional Assistant Property Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations and oversight of our garden-style residential community in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Working closely with the Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, supporting leasing and renewal activities, maintaining strong resident relationships, and helping the property achieve or exceed its operational and ownership goals.

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and organized individual to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

What You’ll Do:

· Partner with the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a garden-style residential community, including preparing office schedules to ensure consistent leasing office coverage and assisting with the coordination of the on-site operations team.

· Answer and screen incoming calls professionally, provide information to residents and prospective residents, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.

· Monitor leasing activity in Yardi Voyager, including advertising, traffic, guest cards, and applications.

· Review and approve applications tenant selection criteria and the property’s income requirements.

· Manage leasing process from first point of contact to move-in

· Support leasing activities, including prospect follow-up, apartment tours, applications, move-ins, and move-outs.

· Manage new leasing and renewal processes, pricing renewals within Montgomery Count rent stabilization limits.

· Manage the notice-to-vacate, move-out, and unit turnover process, including entering and tracking notices, conducting move-out inspections, documenting unit conditions, and completing move-out procedures as needed.

· Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns, communicating in English and Spanish when applicable. Follow maintenance work orders through to completion, coordinate with the maintenance team as needed, and follow up with residents to confirm their concerns have been resolved and they are satisfied with the service provided.

· Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors

· Contribute to community engagement efforts

· Organize and keep files up to date as required

· Provide day-to-day directions

· Perform other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors

What we ask of you:

Requirements:

High School Diploma

One or 2 years of experience in property management.

Bilingual English/Spanish

Working knowledge of property management software; Yardi Voyager a strong plus.

Strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of current applicable laws

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet

Work Location: In person

Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000
