Production Engineer

JOB SUMMARYLooking for a Production Engineer to work in and help improve/develop the LPE (Liquid Phase Epitaxy) process in our Easton, PA facility Shift: Mon-Fri (Day shift, timing TBD)Must be prepared to train for about 6 to 8 months at our Hillsborough, NJ facility at the start of employmentKEY FUNCTIONS OF JOBHelp with all production tasks associated with the LPE processPerform crystal growth analysisDumping/make new production meltsDiagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with LPE equipmentAssist with product improvement/developmentPrepare and present technical reports JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:Minimum: Bachelor’s in EngineeringPreferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Material Science EngineeringExperience:Experience with CAD, Excel, Word, AccessExperience with both qualitative and quantitative dataAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExcellent problem solving and analytical abilitiesExperience handling chemicals and acidsExperience with precision measurement methods and systemsExperience working with fixtures, hand tools, and equipment controllersSafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
