As a Field Service Technician, you'll work at customer sites helping inspect, diagnose, maintain, and support critical equipment and systems. • Perform field service activities at customer locations safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Diagnose equipment conditions and recommend solutions.
• Support the identification and correction of safety concerns on customer and company-owned equipment.
• Interact directly with customers to provide technical support and service.
• Work across multiple customer sites and technologies.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
• Support a positive customer experience and represent Xylem professionally in the field.
• Collaborate with teammates and internal support groups to resolve customer issues.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• 0-2 years of technical experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous field service experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience, a plus!
• Experience working with industrial equipment.
• Experience with Pumps or Water treatment equipment is a plus!

Travel Requirements

This position requires regular travel to customer locations.

Travel: 50% or more, local.

Compensation, the estimated pay rate for the position is $30 - 35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Starting pay is determined by several factors, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and overall qualifications.
