Location: Community Care Mount Pleasant | Shift: Days (United States of America) | Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 | Worker Type: Regular | Exemption Status: No Job Summary Geisinger offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified LPNs. This full‑time position averages 40 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 10 to 11.5 hours. You will work 3 to 4 shifts per week, including one evening shift that extends until 7:00p.m., and will have one weekday off along with an approximately every‑other‑weekend rotation. Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of results in the medical record. Promote a clean environment and maintain equipment standards. Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and prepare the patient for examinations. Assist provider in performing minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; complete associated paperwork for laboratory studies with maximum accuracy and efficiency. Document ongoing patient communication and prioritize communication to the provider. Respond to patient questions and requests to ensure efficient use of provider time and timely response to patient needs. Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice. Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases; ensure required levels of asepsis and availability of appropriate instruments and equipment. Accountable for satisfying all job‑specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
