Role Overview: Performs MRI procedures independently, assessing patient age-specific needs, ensuring proper technique, and providing patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Analyze patient condition and assist radiologists during procedures
- Properly mark images with relevant information
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and understanding of procedures
- Prepare the examination room with necessary supplies
- Explain procedures and support patient transfer
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school
- ARRT certification with CEU compliance or ARMRIT accepted with ARRT
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Preferred: 1 year of experience
Key Attributes: Ability to work independently, attention to patient needs, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills.
