Summary Outpatient + Inpatient Pediatrics with an exceedingly well-regarded practice in Oregon’s Willamette Valley Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for a pediatrician to join our team, providing care at Mid-Valley Children’s Clinic and Samaritan Albany General Hospital, located in Albany, OR. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn , Benton, and Lincoln counties. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care. Job Specifics Financial incentives include inpatient stipend, starting bonus, relocation, and loan assistance funds, all available as soon as your first payroll check. Duties include outpatient primary care with opportunity for nursery/inpatient call. Hospital is located across the street from the clinic. Cohesive, well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely. Samaritan Albany General Hospital has a level II nursery & 430 births per year. Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet. Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support. Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients Opportunity to work with medical students and residents 34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days, plus rotating evening clinic hours Job Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician Children’s hospital – based residency preferred Should be comfortable working with an economically varied population Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented Eligibility to work in the United States In addition to financial incentives described above, we offer an attractive market-aligned salary, paid malpractice, CME allowance, a competitive benefit package, and use of EPIC EMR.
