Research Technician, Department of Psychology

The Psychology Department at Saint Anselm College seeks a laboratory technician to fill a part-time position for the 2026-2027 academic year (20-25 hours per week/32 weeks per year) to assist in the implementation and maintenance of research labs. Duties will include: maintaining and administering a human subject pool program for use by our majors and department faculty creating and conducting laboratory modules for a rotating selection of research method courses coordination and maintenance of computer hardware and software for observational data, psychophysiological measures, and reaction time studies updating and providing student training for such equipment (e.g. eye tracker) creating and maintaining a database of measures (e.g. surveys, cognitive tests) for student research projects ordering and maintaining supplies for laboratory modules Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Must be computer-literate and have a working knowledge of a statistical software such as SPSS, JASP, SAS, as well as creating surveys such as using Qualtrics or Google forms. Successful applicants will have additional experience or willingness to learn Unreal, Unity Engines, or managing developer identities in game design programs. A transcript indicating completion of the undergraduate degree will also be required.
