Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide high-quality patient care during childbirth. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, with strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive care to obstetric patients before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to on-call emergencies, arriving within one hour as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license; Ohio or compact license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years recent and continuous labor and delivery experience.
• Current NRP certification required; willingness to obtain STABLE certification.
• Ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on-call.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and float to multiple campuses as needed.
