Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a career where your work directly supports your community? The City of Kingsland is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Department!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage and analyze complex financial transactions Assist with the City’s annual budget and revenue forecasting Prepare financial reports, journal entries, spreadsheets, and financial analyses Reconcile and audit financial records Support property tax and fiscal operations Review internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance Serve as a lead worker by training and assisting team members

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field 3–4 years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of governmental or municipal accounting is highly valued
