Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- 1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to care for surgical patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Stepdown unit experience preferred. - Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population; mostly geriatric patients. - Uses GE equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: - Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Be able to assist in other units; rarely happens.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
