Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a PCU/Telemetry RN!

- Position: Travel: PCU/Telemetry RN
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM (3/12's)
- Weekend Requirement: Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Position Type: Float Pool - Must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities

Key Requirements:
- License: Valid Arizona RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing
- Patient Ratio: 6/1
- Scrub Color: Any color
- EMR Experience: Required Cerner experience

Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop nursing care plans
- Implement and document nursing care efficiently
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications according to scope of practice
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families
- Utilize experience and judgment for effective planning and task accomplishment
- Perform a variety of nursing tasks requiring creativity and adaptability

Unit Overview:
- Step-down unit from ICU
- Familiarity with cardiac drips, TAVRs, and Watchman mitral clips is essential

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with standard nursing practices and procedures
