Senior GIS Programmer

The Senior GIS Programmer role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting GIS applications and systems within the Office of Information Technology's GIS Program. This position focuses on ArcGIS Server environments, web application development, and integration with CityWorks. The role requires a hybrid work schedule with partial remote work allowed following onboarding and training. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain GIS applications and perform application upgrades.
• Develop and maintain ArcGIS Server web applications.
• Support configuration efforts in CityWorks and GIS web services used by CityWorks.
• Repair and upgrade existing Facilities and utility toolsets written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 and ArcObjects SDK 10.1.
• Analyze program and production problems and provide solutions.
• Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Minimum five years of experience developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience with relational databases and concepts, preferably Oracle and SQL Server.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of experience in systems analysis, change management analysis, project management, or program analysis.
• Recent experience working with a government entity.

• Work location is 400 Washington Avenue, Towson, MD 21204.
• Remote work allowed up to two days per week (approximately 40% remote, 60% onsite).
• Fully remote or out-of-state employment is not authorized.

• Hybrid work schedule to be established after onboarding, training, and equipment issuance.
• Standard business hours with partial remote work flexibility.
