Assistant Manager

Level: Management | Job Location: Grease Monkey 0987 – South Jordan, UT 84095 | Position Type: Full Time | Job Category: Automotive Summary & Objective The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting senior leadership in a FullSpeed Automotive facility to ensure it delivers the highest operational standards and offers excellent customer experience. The Assistant Manager aids in ensuring customer service expectations are met, meeting sales goals, controlling costs, and managing profitability. They also ensure the Center team members are trained and technically proficient while maintaining workplace safety, maintenance standards and building a culture of teamwork and customer service. Duties & Responsibilities Preferably at least 1 full year in Automotive Retail Leadership and in leading and training people. Engage customers by building relationships that make them feel like guests at the location. Attract and manage local fleet businesses while taking care of local customers. Meet or exceed sales goals daily by completing accurate vehicle health checks and using FSA tool systems. Complete computerized work schedules, performance plans, opening and closing procedures with ease. Assist in overseeing daily operations, service bay organization, store readiness and inventory management. Act as a go-getter by delivering results and continuously seeking to improve customer and team experience. Proficient in technology and capable of using computer systems. Correctly assess and complete paperwork for the pit crew (internal candidates). Maintain excellent professional communication with customers and team members. Apply logical thinking, business acumen, and mathematical sense. Deliver exceptional customer experience with honesty, humility and integrity. Adapt to the constantly changing demands of the automotive service industry and remain flexible to meet customer needs. Implement and maintain safety protocols, including OSHA compliance and safety inspections. Assist in monitoring and enforcing security measures to protect company assets and vehicles. Ensure compliance with local and national safety, environmental, and employment standards. Qualifications Driver’s License. Successful background check. Able to lift over 40 pounds regularly. Able to bend, reach, or stand for many hours. State inspector or emissions certifications (plus). Ability to work on mechanical jobs as assigned (highly preferred).
