Find your place and your future here.In the kitchen, this is what we do...Prepare ingredients for daily menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and assembling salads or sides, following standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.Assist in the preparation of homestyle meals tailored to the preferences and schedules of manufacturing employees.Ensure all food items are prepped in a timely manner to support efficient service during peak dining hours.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, adhering to Pepi Foods’ Gold Standard kitchen expectations (clean, labeled, and organized).Assist with inventory checks and communicate supply needs to the Dining Center Manager to ensure adequate stock levels.Support the kitchen team in basic cooking tasks, such as grilling, frying, or baking, as directed during busy shifts.Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines, to ensure a safe dining environment.Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including proper use of kitchen equipment (e.g., knives, slicers, ovens) and personal protective equipment.Your opportunity/benefits...Great Working Environment with emphasis on teamwork and great communication.Great hours - Day to Evening work schedule - occasional weekend workPay Range of $12-16/hour - Incentive Package to include ASAP (Attendance, safety, attitude, and performance) bonus potentialBenefits - Health, Dental, Life, Vacation, PTO, Holidays,Great company to learn and grow with.Job QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a bonus but not required.Experience:At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred, ideally in a high-volume setting.Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.Physical RequirementsStand and work in a kitchen for 8–10 hours.
