We have an excellent company culture/work environment that collaborates frequently and enjoys a great work-life balance.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling high net worth individuals and trust estate taxes, ensuring accurate tax returns and compliance with relevant regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review tax returns for high net worth individuals and trusts (Form 1040 and 1041)Provide tax planning and research to optimize tax strategies for clientsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulationsOversee the preparation of tax filings and documentation for various entities including REITsCollaborate with the wealth management team to align tax strategies with client goalsConduct tax reviews and provide recommendations for improvements in tax processesStay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting clientsSupervise and mentor junior staff in tax accounting and compliance practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA certification is requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory rolesStrong knowledge of tax compliance and tax accounting principlesExperience working with high-net-worth individuals and trust/estate tax issuesProficiency in tax research and analysisExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.BenefitsBenefits" Competitive Salary " Strong Bonus Structure " Full Medical, Dental, and Vision" Discretionary 401k Match " Company Paid Expenses (Continued education, travel, equipment, memberships, and more)
